The Marketing Specialist designs, develops and implements marketing programs and strategies to support Student Life operations, programs, services and departments; serves as primary marketing point of contact for support areas and consults on marketing strategies; develops, plans and implements marketing plans to meet strategic goals, reach target audiences, raise awareness and ensure alignment with university branding; tracks and monitors marketing projects to ensure timely and effective completion and success; consults with design/creative team when necessary; plans and coordinates marketing material and ideas to meet goals, educate and communicate departmental offerings; educates support areas on university and Student Life branding standards; manages departmental calendar to ensure programs and events are communicated and effectively promoted; identifies necessary updates for websites.
Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field; 3-5 years of professional experience; client management experience; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in sales and/or the hospitality industry; strategic and long-range planning; experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
Target Salary: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 Annually
