Will be responsible for proactive and reactive media relations along with the development of internal communication tactics and materials based on operating unit situational analysis. Duties include leading the strategy and developing and implementing all aspects of marketing and communication plans for his/her operating unit and assigned system services lines. This effort will positively influence target audiences, increase utilization of services and fulfill other strategic business objectives.
Works with appropriate stakeholders, including growth officers, clinical staff and strategic planning to, identify target audiences, analyze product attributes and develop key messages that will ensure effective promotion.Convenes multidisciplinary team, including creative services, digital marketing, market research, media relations, internal communications, physician relations, CME and advertising agency as appropriate to develop collaborative, multi-target, multi-channel marketing plans. Effectively monitors and analyzes return on investment, providing succinct reports to AVP, Marketing and related hospital and service line leadership. Utilizes evaluation tools to assess the communication plan tactics and strategies, working with the marketing team to initiate new evaluation tools and processes as necessary.
