The Marketing Coordinator will report to the Marketing Manager and is responsible for managing and completing non-routine tasks and complex project proposals while supporting all marketing and communications efforts for the Sports + Entertainment Group including remote projects teams.
Strategic yet outside-the-box thinking; resourcefulness; self-starting work habits; creativity in problem solving based on information and judgment.
Leads the entire pursuit (proposal and interview) process:
Initiates and leads kick-off and coordination meetings
Establishes production schedule
Maintains action item list and coordinates the efforts of the pursuit team in the development of proposal content
Write, edit, and verify content as needed
Ensures all technical aspects of the proposal are up-to-date and accurate and that all RFP requirements have been met
Create new eye-catching layouts on a project-by-project basis with concisely formatted proposal content
Coordinates final production and delivery
Creates/designs and brochures, presentations, posters, invitations, e-blasts, etc.
Manages the group's social media platforms
Assists in developing content to support the group's overall marketing strategy
Coordinates presence at events such as trade shows, conferences, conventions, etc.
Coordinates and prepares project, company, and team member award submissions
Maintains marketing and business development file structure and CRM system updates
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent interpersonal skills
Outstanding writing and editing skills (grammar, spelling, proofing, conciseness, etc.)
Works well under pressure / deadlines in teaming / collaborative environments
Flexible with the ability to change direction or course of action on a moments notice
Graphic capability, creative
Attention to detail and accuracy, results-oriented
Ability to juggle multiple assignments—and do each one well and in detail
Experience with CRM applications
Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite CC (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Education / Years of Experience
Degree in Marketing Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, English, or related field.
2-4 years of related experience in the architectural, engineering or construction industry preferred
