The Director of Marketing is responsible for the development, implementation and management of SB marketing, communications, and public relations strategies and plans to advance the SB's goal and mission. The Director reports to the Associate Deans of Graduate and Undergraduate Programs Key responsibilities include: Establish, implement and manage a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy utilizing print, digital and social media. Establish The SB brand to achieve national and international recognition for the quality of education, students, faculty and staff. Increase enrollments, the quality, diversity and composition in SB's Undergraduate, Graduate and Certificate programs through brand awareness and storytelling. Manage outsourced public relations function. Supervise, support and nurture marketing and communications team including student employees.
-A Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications or related field. -7+ years of experience in the field of communications, journalism, marketing or public relations. -Demonstrated experience in developing and executing an integrated brand, marketing plan and strategy. -Proficient in digital and inbound marketing experience in SEO, paid search, blog development, social media and analytics. -Project and time management skills and the ability to set and juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure in a deadline driven environment with competing priorities. -Outstanding organizational, analytical/critical thinking, problem-solving and detail-oriented skills. -Appreciation of content consumption preferences among target audiences and the need to utilize relevant channels with tailored messaging to reach those audiences effectively and efficiently. -Ability to build consensus and work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including administrative staff, faculty, students and alumni to identify and deliver win-win strategies. -Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, enthusiasm and willingness to
