This position is a critical function within UHC Marketing & Consume as it is the execution arm for all consumer outreach that includes: Direct Mail, Email, Outbound Calls, Web Visits and Real-Time Offer Management. This position is responsible for data management in support of the Marketing / Product operations, execution, and reporting capabilities. The Marketing Product Database Analyst is responsible for all aspects of data management activities for the Consumer Marketing database. These activities include: auditing daily processing activities, managing data acquisition, and providing production support of database enhancements and system development projects. This individual participates in data feed requirements, secure file transfer processes from internal and external data sources, user acceptance testing, and technical strategy definition.
Required Qualifications:Associate's Degree (or higher) in Business, Technology, or related field or High School Diploma / GED with 3+ years of Data Management experience in lieu of degreeConsumer marketing experience Experience with relational databases - database structures and design, systems design, data management, or data warehousesExperience with SQLIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word (create and edit documents, track changes, and add comments)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (create and edit spreadsheets, filter data, export, and import)Experience with Microsoft Outlook (mail and calendar)Experience with Microsoft Access (import, export, and format layouts)Ability to travel up to 25%Preferred Qualifications: Healthcare experienceExperience with Business Intelligence Tools (i.e. Business Objects) Experience with PL / SQL DeveloperCareers with UnitedHealthcare.
