Speedway Motors is seeking a part-time Marketing Intern to fulfill a variety of needs in the Marketing Dept. This position is a great opportunity to learn a wide range of marketing processes- working on everything from events to content! Come be part of the Speedway Team!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze Speedway Motors competitors online and provide reporting monthly.
Checks online editorials and print publications for brand mentions and logs them for easy future access.
Schedule, plan and execute marketing team activities quarterly.
Join the bigger Speedway Motors team on the ‘Events Committee’ to help plan and execute companywide activities.
Reach out to publications/writers for content, images, video work to be used in our online Toolbox.
Assist in building and publishing articles in The Toolbox section of SpeedwayMotors.com.
Works closely with Event & Sponsorship Manager to fulfill event needs, plan promotions, and assist in ensuring successful event execution.
Currently enrolled in a secondary education program.
Careful attention to detail and the ability to work independently within scope of the assignment.
Excellent English language writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Comfortable working in a collaborative office environment.
Fluent in PC Windows operating system.
Experience with Microsoft Office is a must.
