The Marketing and Events Specialist is responsible for planning and executing all logistics for conferences, client dinners, and corporate events. S/he will manage FHLBank Chicago presence at trade association events in coordination with other departments, and will be responsible for execution of FHLBank Chicago marketing plans by coordinating content and co-creating collateral.
Responsibility for end-to-end event planning/coordination for conferences, client dinners, and corporate events.
Events includes FHLBank Chicago conferences and regional meetings, trade association events, FHLBC corporate events, product education and other forums, and webinars
Establish relationships with industry professionals to source and maintain a list of potential conference speakers
Responsibility for managing accurate registration data; also monitoring and reporting registration trends to a variety of audiences
Managing and overseeing event requirements based on registration trends
Position requires periodic travel to support out-of-town client events and conferences
Other Members and Markets projects as assigned
3-5 years experience in event planning/coordination or marketing required
Experience in banking/marketing in a financial institution preferred
Bachelor degree required
Experience working with Cvent, or comparable event registration software, is preferred
