This position is responsible for promoting the programs of Physical Education Recreation and Dance and the Fitness and Recreation Center to the University community and to the public to meet revenue and participation goals. Primary responsibilities include website and social media supervision, community and campus promotions, marketing membership and instructional programs, internal client marketing needs, and general execution of strategic marketing plan.
Together with Marketing Manager, responsible for managing and executing overall marketing tactics of revenue producing recreational programs, including adult and family, as well as membership.
Responsible for continually expanding visibility on campus and in the community, increasing followers and expanding member and participant engagement through marketing efforts.
Serve as webmaster. Monitor and update website, including creation of pages, content updates, design layout, design suggestions and upgrades. Includes tracking, monitoring and using website statistics and sales data to measure and report on marketing plan performance and recommend changes.
Assist in the management of departmental marketing support requests. Conduct monthly marketing meetings with program areas.
Supervise graphic design GA and marketing student staff.
Responsible for oversight of social media channels. Develop and manage social brand, content, policies and procedures
