The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors—National Association (PHCC) is searching for an innovative and energetic marketing manager to help us implement exciting initiatives included in the organization’s strategic plan. The Marketing Manager is responsible for a variety of marketing-related projects for PHCC—National Association and related entities, including its Enhanced Service Groups (Construction Contractors’ Alliance, Quality Service Contractors and Union-Affiliated Contractors) and the PHCC Educational Foundation. The position reports to the Vice President of Communications & Marketing and is an integral part of this expanding department.
Develops comprehensive content strategy and marketing plans that advance the initiatives outlined in the strategic plans of PHCC and its related groups.
Manages development and distribution of marketing materials promoting PHCC events; membership benefits and services; and products.
Facilitates production of boilerplate membership marketing tools for state chapters.
Develops production schedules for promotion of specific conferences and events.
Ensures brand consistency throughout all PHCC and chapter marketing materials.
Serves as in-house marketing resource for PHCC-related groups.
Implements enhanced service group marketing projects, including online and print event promotions, email content and production, etc.
Plans and implements specific email marketing campaigns.
Works with multiple vendors to plan and implement production schedules.
Proactively works with PHCC entities to maximize all potential marketing opportunities.
Introduces new ideas to reach a broader audience than traditional means.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
A minimum of three-to-five years of professional experience in marketing and/or publications
Experience in a nonprofit, association or agency environment is preferred
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a collaborative way with members, staff and chapters
Experience organizing and managing projects
Excellent customer service skills
Practical knowledge in in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Experience using survey and measurement tools
Experience with Real Magnet and Higher Logic a plus
Ability to travel as needed
