Responsibilities and Key Requirements of the Position
Reporting to the Scientific and Marketing Director – Pharmaceutical Division, the Senior Marketing Associate will plan, develop, execute, and assess all marketing and promotional activities for the Gattefossé USA Pharmaceutical Division. The individual will use his/her extensive marketing and design skills and background to create and implement marketing campaigns for the Division, and in the process will collaborate with different facets of the organization to coordinate timely deployment of content and communications that may pertain to products, services, or events.

The successful Senior Marketing Associate will …
Design and develop marketing collateral for promotion of events, products, and services
Develop technical tools for the sales team including but not limited to diagrams, graphics, tables, technical sheets and product or formulation guides
Develop, update and maintain company webpage content
Maintain the online corporate image and presence by scheduling and creating regular digital feeds on social and professional sites: LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube
Develop videos and recorded voice-over slide presentations for targeted audiences
Actively participate in the creation of newsletters, e-blasts, blogs, questionnaires, and all other types of communications directed at customers and media. This includes writing, editing and creating graphic material.
Oversee organizing and archiving of all marketing, technical, and promotional files; insures availability of up to date literature and promotional giveaways; the appropriate transfer of information within and outside Gattefossé; and supervises the proper storage of exhibit and event related materials and documents.
Organize and execute customer seminars, laboratory hands-on sessions; webinars, exhibits, and other promotional events
Assess the relative success of each event according to budget: maintain up to date log for each venue; create post-event short reports including customer feedback, participation rate or level of interest or other indicators of success
Create and submit artwork and material according to marketing objectives and schedules; follow through the execution of the orders and related invoices
Evaluate the efficacy of media submissions by collecting data (views, requests, clicks, document requests, responses...) from the relevant sources; performs statistical analysis of the gathered data; issues reports for each activity.
Insure that company profile information in print and digital media are up to date
Gather and analyze information from the web or other sources to summarize trends relevant to our products and markets
Review and analyze company web page traffic, internet inquiries, sample requests, customer feedback and issue reports on a needed basis
In depth knowledge of design software e.g. Adobe, Creative Suites, InDesign or Photoshop.
Experience in pharmaceutical or a related industry is desirable.
Professionalism with positive can do attitude, above average communication skills, able to adapt to changing task priorities, ability to multi-task, very good organizational and technical writing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office are a must.
Position requires occasional overnight domestic and international travel to attend company meetings, trade shows, trainings, and to visit customers.
Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Marketing/Business or Sciences
