Advertising: Ad Sales, Advertising: Creative, Sales
Work with the Credit & Collections and Cash Applications Shared Services team learning credit and accounts receivable, collections, and cash applications concepts, principles and processes. (A part time internship during the summer, fall and spring semesters.)
Job Description/Duties May Include:
Accurate and timely posting of payments received from lockbox, credit cards, wire, in house checks etc.
Identify and resolve payment discrepancies
Assist in resolving unapplied payments, AR adjustments, reversing the application of returned checks and credit card chargebacks.
Prepare credit analysis spreadsheets
Assist in verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data
Gather documentation related to discrepancies and help resolve clients billing issues
Provide support in credit card processing analysis
Assist in gathering supporting documentation for monthly write offs
Handling preparation of legal files, adjustments, collections and refunds
Handling all returned mail and Bankruptcy notices
Maintain the credit card log and log credit card reversals
Maintain litigation log
Provide administrative support such as ordering supplies, mail run, etc.
Special projects as directed by management

Ability to multi-task and transition between tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
Good analysis, research, and problem solving skills
Good organizational skills, detail oriented, and ability to prioritize tasks
Valid driver’s license is required
Education and/or Experience
Must be a current undergraduate student, preferably entering junior year, working towards a Bachelor's degree in Business
