The Vice-President of Sales and Marketing position is responsible for planning and executing sales and marketing strategies to ensure a delivery of maximum annual sales and profitability for Flight Services & Systems.
Areas of responsibility
Play a key role with the execution of the overall account approach and selling strategies to maintain critical business relationships with existing accounts and the creation of new business opportunities.
Conduct analysis, research and reports of competitors, customers and markets in order to evaluate Flight Services & Systems competitiveness and to determine where opportunities exist within markets.
Analyzes business performance and delivers recommendations to drive sales growth by using keen knowledge of the market and customer needs.
Liaise with Executive Leadership and General Managers to develop appropriate service standards and specifications to meet or exceed sales targets and customer requirements.
Develops and manages sales/marketing operating budgets.
Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
Ensures effective control of marketing results.
Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions. Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities.

Required skills and qualifications
Solid Airline Industry knowledge
7 – 10 years sales experience
Strong leadership skills
Must have relationship building capabilities to open doors, develop opportunities and close deals
Must have excellent communication and negotiating skills
Results oriented, self-starter and highly motivated
Strong analytical skills and sound decision-making ability
Strong ability to multitask and effectively handle several projects and priorities
