Basic Function: Oversight of NCAA partnership-driven relationships with corporate entities involved in sponsorship. Collaborative and relationship-based partnership development with NCAA media and marketing rights holders by way of sales support, servicing and general management related to sponsorship and other business with external entities. Identification, creation, and development of value for the corporations financially supporting the NCAA, student-athletes and fans.
Job Responsibilities: 1.Membership on Championships and Alliances leadership team, providing the department and other national office groups with management of and partnership on corporate-related strategic and tactical programs and initiatives. Strategically develop and advance team objectives to support corporate entities with active engagement in proactive enforcement efforts for all elements of the NCAA’s intellectual property. Attend and support NCAA championships to manage various on-site duties related to corporate activations, hospitality, and championship operations 2.Direction and oversight of corporate relationships staff and all related agreements to monitor compliance and contractual rights and benefits, to partner with Turner/CBS in the creation, leverage, corporate sales opportunities and activation of partnerships, and to actively communicate NCAA marketing guidelines that pertain to NCAA corporate relationships. 3.Development of marketing and branding plans for ancillary events, promotions and fan experience opportunities sponsored by NCAA corporate partners, including staff oversite of fan engagement and in-venue entertainment at select championships, while elevating and building equity in the NCAA brand by driving messaging activation opportunities to maximize exposure of NCAA parent brand and all appropriate sub-brands.
4. Lead, facilitate and develop the corporate relationships team to grow involvement, staff development and experience in an environment of communication, collaboration and accountability, including oversight of personnel and budget management. 5. Other duties as assigned by the managing director of men’s basketball and/or the senior vice president of basketball.

1. Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree preferred. 2. Five-eight years’ progressive experience in marketing, including experience with a Fortune 500 company, sports or cultural property/attraction, agency or an NCAA member institution. 3. Demonstrated leadership ability in sales, activation and evaluation as specifically related to business relationships between properties, media and sponsors. 4. Experience with multi-tiered distribution/channel systems. 5. Knowledge and understanding of the Association's governmental structure and functions.
