Business Development, Customer Service, Inside Sales
Alpha II, a medical billing software company, is seeking a Business Development Inside Sales Executive to join our team. This is an opportunity for you to have a large influence in the medical billing and revenue cycle management areas of healthcare. Candidates must have sales, tele-sales, sales support, and/or account management experience meeting and/or exceeding sales goals.
Job purpose: To perform direct and in-direct sales and eMarketing campaign activities to deliver software sales to retail client partners as well as support sales efforts with select Reseller Partners related to sales campaigns.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Primary responsibility is to perform inside sales of software solutions and provide necessary tele-sales and eMarketing support to select Reseller Accounts and Direct Marketing campaigns.
Contact customers directly, primarily through telephone and email to maintain established accounts and to develop new opportunities and accounts.
Perform outgoing sales calls in conjunction with marketing campaigns.
Receive incoming sales calls in conjunction with marketing campaigns.
Email customers and respond to incoming customer emails directly as well as in conjunction with eMarketing campaigns.
Accept written and verbal sales orders/agreements and maintain all customer contact interaction through the company CRM.
Describe and promote Alpha II solutions and company to customers in order to facilitate direct and in-direct sales.
Provide customer service tasks such as answering questions about products, services, and company (will require time investment to learn the value propositions of our solutions and how the directly relate to our customers objectives).
At discretion of supervisor may attend tradeshows or conferences to exhibit products, perform demonstrations and provide customer service. Tradeshow efforts may include assembling and disassembling exhibit. Overnight travel may be required.
Learn and follow sales processes and methodologies as indicated by supervisor; ensuring consistent utilization and documentation in the company CRM to ensure effective best practice and sales advancement.
May perform various administrative or business functions for company.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Prior verifiable experience in sales, tele-sales, sales support, and/or account management with a proven track record in meeting and/or exceeding sales goals and objectives.
Ability to research prospective customers and opportunities.
Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Prefer Marketing or Business degree from a four-year accredited university.
Prefer a minimum of three-to-five years of experience calling customers to solicit sales.
Prefer history in the healthcare software marketplace (PM, EMR, RCM, HIM, etc.
Additional Salary Information: Negotiable, depending on experience.
We develop data content and rules for health information that are used in everything from EHR, practice management and hospital systems to the Easy Coder ICD-10 code books. We also host cloud-based apps and services using the Alpha II rules engine for E & M coding, claims editing and adjudication, fee schedules, medical necessity, and quality measures. We serve healthcare professionals, clearinghouses, and government entities – both directly and through other healthcare software developers.
