The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the main liaison between the internal Hamline community and the Marketing and Creative Services department (MCS). Support the execution of marketing plans and tactics through strong communication and consistent flow of information.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
2+ years professional experience working in a marketing department or in a client or project management role
2+ years professional experience working with Mircosoft Office and Google tools
2+ years professional experience working with project management systems
Ability to travel to off campus locations and work evening and/or weekends as required
Ability to discern, evaluate, and strategize both explicit and implicit project requests. Strong documentation skills.
Deep knowledge of marketing project flow for all marketing channels.
Ability to organize self, others, and processes to keep projects moving seamlessly.
Ability to quickly forge and maintain strong relationships across campus through consistent two way communication.
Ability to manage simultaneous projects with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to proactively resolve (potential) issues and create win-win solutions for the MCS team and university community.
Excellent written and oral communication skills that keep stakeholders engaged and informed.
Excellent interpersonal skills; positive, supportive, diplomatic approach to relationship building.
Ability to manage multiple levels of stakeholders (up, down and sideways), both directly and indirectly.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Google Tools
Proficient in project management systems (ex: Podio, Basecamp, Asana)
Familiar with CRM systems (ex: Salesforce, Slate)
Familiar using CMS systems (ex: Ektron, Wordpress, Drupal, etc.)
